Slayton Country Club is one of the best 9 hole courses within 100 miles. It is not a long course but if you hate water, don't play it. You either cross water, play beside water (or both) on eight of the nine holes. There is a quite a bit of elevation change on several holes. A unique feature of the layout is that the course is layed out in triangles and you arrive back at the clubhouse after every third hole. There are no restroom or snack facilities needed other than the clubhouse.
